The project uses online applications and platforms to re-engage young learners and provide a "virtual class" and cohort of students to engage and support students to return to further accredited vocational education and training. The project is underpinned by the highly successful Youth Access Reengagement Program (YARP) devised by South West Institute of TAFE and now utilised in many education settings. YARP is an assertive outreach based engagement and education model, providing individualised and small group accredited training.

Catholic Healthcare Ltd (CHCS) operates 39 residential aged care communities and three community hospitals across NSW and South East Qld. To ensure their employees have current skills, CHCS builds on its e-learning strategies by finding a variety of different cost effective methods of delivering training.
The primary focus of the project was to provide a range of responsive best practice professional development opportunities that can be quickly developed and delivered in the workplace to a range of workers in the Aged Care Industry sector by utilising NSW North Coast TAFE’s HEALNet program.
The program consists of a series of short, sharp professional development topics that were made available electronically for use by the Aged Care industry. The secondary focus of the project was to provide CHCS with the opportunity to become more engaged in e-learning, catering to a regional and metropolitan audience.
